Through the Tainted Glass

| Alice in Wonderland Style Inspiration | Vintage | H&M | Techni-Acid-Colored Looking Glass |

The real tale of Alice arose from the story of the most picturesque turn of the century aristocratic little girl named Alice Pleasance Liddell, the inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass darling… and the often rumored object of his questionably attentive attention.

So in ode to the original Alice, let us reinterpret a modern reinvention of the turn of the century little girl’s sundress by pairing a 1910 dated night slip with an H&M pleated ankle dress.

But this Alice isn’t quite as into white crack rabbits or blood-thirsty H-eart queens as the Disney version might imply (Disney is dark, accept it), but she does hold a penchant for technicolor tinged on acid dipped L-ollipops.
